Placing a Global Tax & Accounting Director for a Global Corporate Services Provider
The Challenge
We advised an internationally recognised Business & Corporate Services organisation on the appointment of a senior Director to be the Global Product lead for their Tax and Accounting Solutions business unit.
– Finding a dual-skilled executive who could oversee finance and operations at a global scale.

Our Approach
The mandate was a complex one, to build a Target Operating Model (TOM) whereby the firm could increase its revenue capabilities to existing clients around the work, as well as partner with the sales teams and leadership team, and win and on-board new business.
Upon being instructed by the client, we set about mapping a specific set of professional services and global corporate services businesses across UK and EMEA. We focused our efforts on identifying candidates who balanced taxation expertise with global operations (TOM) and technology skills.
We provided the client with a detailed report outlining the key market players, competitors, and potentially suitable profiles.
The client met 4 individuals from our shortlist, quickly identifying one candidate of choice.
We managed both parties through an offer/negotiation period, subsequently preparing the candidate for resignation.
Results
The successful candidate was appointed with an impressive background in Taxation and Financial Technology from the Big 4 and was very well positioned to drive an impressive growth agenda and infrastructure model. The appointed candidate has made significant strides in helping shape the Tax & Accounting solutions platform, greatly improving the infrastructure, supporting the winning and onboarding of new clients, and ultimately helping to drive future success.
