Matthew runs the UK business of Phoenix Search. Alongside daily management for the London office, Matthew conducts a range of searches across the Corporate Officers space, maintaining key relationships with a wide range of clients across both the Financial Services and Professional Services sectors.
Prior to Phoenix Search, Matthew originated mandates and ran Finance and Infrastructure Practices of large FTSE 250 recruitment businesses, as well as small owner-managed Executive Search businesses. Matthew has over 20 years of Search experience, completing projects across CFO/COO, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Regulation, HR and Tax & Treasury functions.
He has advised clients on compensation and succession planning strategies and has conducted market mapping and competitor analysis studies. Matthew has also supported clients in analysing gender and diversity talent pools in the London and wider EMEA markets. Matthew holds both a BA Hons in Accounting & Law and a Master's degree in International Criminology from the University of Sheffield.
