Phoenix has partnered with a leading domestic commercial law firm in Dublin with an outstanding reputation for expertise in financial services regulation to hire an experienced solicitor to join their established Financial Regulation team in their Dublin office.

This role offers exposure to a wide variety of regulatory issues and the chance to shape the financial regulatory landscape for high-value clients.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice on Irish and EU financial regulations, including Central Bank of Ireland authorizations, PSD2, MiFID II, CRR, and AML requirements.

  • Assist clients in navigating regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, and compliance reviews.

  • Support clients in securing licenses and approvals from regulatory authorities.

  • Draft and review regulatory documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks.

  • Keep clients informed about changes in the regulatory landscape and their impact on business operations.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified solicitor with 3+ years of post-qualified experience (PQE) in financial services regulation or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of Irish and EU regulatory frameworks, including the role of the Central Bank of Ireland.

  • Experience advising on regulatory compliance, licensing, and enforcement matters.

  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex regulatory issues.

  • A client-focused mindset, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver tailored advice.
