We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join the growing finance team in Shannon, Co. Clare, on a full-time permanent basis.
Job Purpose
This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a growing team that provides high-quality financial services to clients in the Aviation Leasing Industry. Main Responsibilities

  1. Preparing and reviewing analyses for monthly cash reports.
  2. Creating budgets and forecasts.
  3. Preparing accounting information for significant leasing entities.
  4. Compiling and submitting annual accounts and filings.
  5. Handling client audits and liaising with external auditors.
  6. Preparing and filing VAT and statutory returns.
  7. Monitoring client compliance requirements.
  8. Attending Board meetings.
  9. Collaborating with junior staff.
  10. Undertaking special projects as needed.


Qualifications / Experience Required

  • ACA/ ACCA Qualified
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ideally, a background transitioning from practice to industry.
  • Audit experience with Aircraft Leasing clients is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using a PC, particularly with strong Excel skills.
  • Understanding of IFRS and consolidation accounting principles.
