Phoenix Search is collaborating with a leading telecom provider in West Dublin to find a skilled Financial Controller to spearhead our financial management operations. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take charge of a dynamic team responsible for a range of financial tasks, encompassing accounting, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. We are searching for an individual with exceptional leadership abilities and a demonstrated history of success in financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse financial data for strategic decision-making.
• Produce accurate monthly financial reports.
• Collaborate on year-end audits and regulatory submissions.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
• Establish and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Essential accountancy qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proficiency in financial software, MS Excel, and ERPs.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
