Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Finance Team as a Financial Controller, where your expertise will drive financial excellence.

As a Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in the organization, overseeing all aspects of financial management, from regulatory and financial reporting to budget preparation and internal control development. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting operations.

The Role:  

• Managing all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Providing timely and accurate monthly financial statements in compliance with local GAAP, driving improvements in month-end closing processes.
• Analyzing financial and operational performance, reporting variances, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Monitoring cash flow and controlling costs to drive profitability and productivity.
• Coordinating external audits and ensuring timely annual reporting to stakeholders.
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prepare budgets, forecasts, and business cases to support investments.
• Assisting with the integration of acquisitions into the group.

The Person:

• Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA CIMA etc with 4+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Possess technical knowledge of Irish GAAP/IFRS.
• Experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment is desirable 
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
